What We Believe

A concise summary of the foundational biblical truths we believe and teach according to the Apostolic faith.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith, doctrine, salvation, and Christian living.

The One True God

We believe there is one God, eternal and indivisible, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, through the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost in regeneration. We reject the teaching that God exists as three separate and distinct divine persons.

; ;

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the one true God manifested in the flesh. In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. He is fully God and fully man, our Lord, Savior, and Redeemer.

, ; ; ;

Salvation

We believe salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. The apostolic response to the gospel includes repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.

; ;

Repentance

We believe all people are called to repent by turning away from sin and turning toward God in faith and obedience. Genuine repentance involves a change of heart, mind, and direction.

; ;

Water Baptism

We believe water baptism is to be administered by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, following the pattern and teaching of the apostles.

; ; ;

The Holy Ghost

We believe receiving the Holy Ghost is part of the New Testament experience and is promised to all whom the Lord calls. We believe the biblical initial sign of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

, ; ;

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to continue steadfastly in apostolic doctrine, fellowship, prayer, worship, and the breaking of bread while proclaiming the gospel to the world.

; ;

Christian Living

We believe those who have been born again are called to live lives of holiness, love, worship, obedience, and separation from sin. Our conduct should glorify Jesus Christ in everything we do.

; ; ;

The Second Coming

We believe in the personal and future return of Jesus Christ for His Church and in the ultimate fulfillment of God's promises concerning resurrection, judgment, and eternal life.
